Why is she in Japan? Only 18 years old she lived in the northern mountains of China in her small Miao village with her mother and two younger sisters Ameng and Gaoshia. In her village light colored hair and fair skin were considered to be extremely beautiful and girls who had these features were considered to be "Tsai Sheng" the Goddess of Harmony. Jiang Li was however born to the poorest family in the village and was always looked down upon because she was the product of rape.

All through her life she would help her mother work in the rice fields and if it wasn't rice planting season she would be attending to her four small cattle. She earned the name orange jasmine because or her light hair color and her birth date was when the jasmine flower would bloom. While attending to the cattle one day she met a Chinese silk merchant and they fell in love.

On the night of her wedding a passing Japanese peddler drugged and kidnapped her away to Japan to be his love and sex slave.

So how'd she learn to fight? Girls in the village were just as sturdy as men due to the fact that everyone in the village was poor but the one thing girls weren't allowed to do was practice the art of Kung-Fu.

Jiang of course learned because her Granfather (who was a master at the art) did not have any sons or Grandsons to pass on the skills to, so he made an exception and taught Jiang.

What's she currently doing? Trying to find a way back to her Northern Village in the mountains of China. She doesn't remember much due to the overdose on the drug the peddler used but she does remember her village and her family so she is trying to go home. She doesn't speak a lick of Japanese by the way... How she survived this long? Who really knows?

Personality: Jiang is a big worry-wort, she starts to act paranoid if anyone starts talking to her in Japanese. She understands Mandarin and a bit of Cantonese but not Japanese. She is an airhead at times and is extremely gullible. Her Fighting Spirit is rather poor unless she starts to run out of money. She has the grace of a princess but the bluntness of a Street Merchant.
